Four golfers will compete in the 2012 PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda at the Port Royal Golf Course from Oct. 22 to Oct. 24, as they have for more than 20 years now.

Padraig Harrington will replace Ernie Els, who was forced to withdraw from the event due to a left ankle injury, joining a field of champions that includes Bubba Watson, Webb Simpson and defending champion Keegan Bradley.

The field originally sported Ernie Els, Bubba Watson, Webb Simpson and Keegan Bradley, but an injury has forced one of the golfers to withdraw from the event.
That golfer would be Ernie Els, who recently suffered a left ankle injury, and he will be replaced by Padraig Harrington in the event. Harrington wasn’t the first choice, though, to replace Els. In fact, Harrington joined the field after alternates Graeme McDowell and Tiger Woods were unavailable to compete in the event.
Defending champion Keegan Bradley will look to make it two consecutive wins, but will have his hands full holding off Masters Champion Bubba Watson, U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson, and Padraig Harrington.
There is $1.35 million up for grabs, with the winner bringing home $600,000. It isn’t too bad after that, either, as second place will win $300,000, third place $250,000 and fourth place $200,000.
