Charlie Beljan got his first win of 2012 with a two-stroke victory at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Bejjan shot a 69 to hold off the rest of the field on Sunday and finish the tournament at 16-under.

Charlie Beljan held off the rest of the field to post a victory on Sunday.


Beljan was actually hospitalized after Round 2 on Friday, as he received treatment for a raised heart rate and numbness in his arms. Beljan needed a good finish in this weekend’s tournament to keep his TOUR card for 2013, and toughed out the weekend for his first PGA victory.
Matt Every and Robert Garrigus tied for second place at 14-under. The biggest movers on Sunday were Jerry Kelly and Joey Snyder III. Both men shot a 6-under for the day and moved into a tie for 9th place.
There was actually a six-way tie for ninth. One of those golfers, Tim Herron, was able to sneak into the top 125 money list at No. 124 to ensure his TOUR card for next year.
