Hunter Mahan is the early leader at the 2012 World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Mahan is currently at 3-under through six holes.

Hunter Mahan leads the 2012 World Challenge through six holes, with Keegan Bradley, Tiger Woods and others within striking distance early.


Mahan got off to a great start, notching a birdie on the opening hole. He proceeded to birdie the fourth and sixth holes as well, while parring the other three.
Keegan Bradley is in second place after nine holes, holding steady at 2-under. He is paired with Jason Dufner, who is tied for last place with Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler at 3-over. Mahan’s counterpart,
Tiger Woods is engaged in a four-way tie for third place with Jason Day, Webb Simpson and Ian Poulter at 1-under. Brandt Snedeker, who was the 2012 FedEx Cup winner, is even through the front nine.
