Golf Channel To Air LPGA Tour’s Sybase Match Play Pro-Am

In a first for the LPGA Tour, Golf Channel will air the Sybase Match Play Championship pro-am on Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. ET.

The network will outfit Natalie Gulbis, Jessica Korda, Suzann Pettersen and Stacy Lewis with microphones, so viewers will have the chance to eavesdrop on the chit-chat between players and caddies. On-course reporters will conduct “walk and talk” interview with the golfers, who will share tips with viewers and discuss their preparations for Thursday’s first-round matches.

Top-ranked Yani Tseng and defending champ Pettersen headline the talented field of 64 of the top women golfers who will tee it up in the match play event at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, N.J. Among the stars hoping to be the last woman standing on Sunday will be Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Brittany Lincicome and Stacy Lewis.
