Wyndham Championship 2012: Sergio Garcia Barely Holding Top Spot

Sergio Garcia’s hold on the Wyndham Championship leaderboard remains, albeit by the smallest of margins.

The Spanish golfer remains one stroke ahead of Bud Cauley and Tim Clark who are both sitting at 13-under. A win for Garcia would be his first PGA win since 2008, and would most likely carry a Ryder Cup roster spot with it.

Nicolas Colsaerts has made a strong showing today through nine holes, going 3-under so far to crawl into a tie for fourth place at 12-under. Americans Heath Slocum and John Merrick are also 3-under through nine holes today to sit at 11-under overall.

Garcia, Cauley, Clark and Jason Dufner (who sits at 12-under) all are yet to tee off -- which guarantees plenty of drama heading into the final day.
