The Barclays Leaderboard: K.J. Choi On Top Of Tight Field

With just about half of the field underway in the first round of The Barclays, several golfers are scoring well in the early going in the first event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

The low man thus far is K.J. Choi, who sits at 5-under through 16 holes. In a tie for second just below him are Sergio Garcia, Nick Watney, Gary Christian and George McNeill. The pairing of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods is through its front nine, with McIlroy off to a strong start at 3-under while Woods sits at 1-under. McIlroy is the most prominent golfer two strokes off the lead, although he’s joined by Padraig Harrington and Dustin Johnson.
