Although tournament leaders Sergio Garcia and Nick Watney are not set to tee off until 1:45 p.m. ET, some players have been making early moves on Saturday morning.
The Barclays Leaderboard: Saturday Round 3 Update
Leading the charge is David Hearn, who began Saturday at 1-over par. Hearn made four birdies and no bogeys on the front nine, launching himself into a tie for 16th at 3-under for the tournament.
The hottest pairing of the morning features Phil Mickelson and Luke Donald. Both players began the day at even par, and have moved to 2-under through five holes.
Saturday morning’s other big movers include Ryan Palmer (4-under through nine holes), Ricky Barnes (3-under through nine), and Rory McIlroy (2-under through six).
McIlroy looked like he was on his way to another big tournament when he shot 69 (2-under) on Thursday. But on Friday, he struggled on the front nine, making four bogeys on his way to a 2-over 73.
