Most morning rounds are now almost complete after Day 1 of the Deutsche Bank Championship, and Tiger Woods has got a commanding lead. Through 16 holes, Woods is at eight under par, three strokes better than Louis Oosthuizen and Jeff Overton, who are tied for second place.
Deutsche Bank Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Still Dominating With Commanding Lead
Woods, starting on the back nine, fired a 3-under 32, which got him off to an early, but modest lead. When he got to the front nine, Woods went absolutely berserk, birdying the first five holes. You can look, and marvel, at his scorecard here.
It may be early to say this, but a win at this tournament would obviously vault Tiger Woods into a dominant leading position in the FedEx Cup. He is currently in third place, behind Nick Watney and Brandt Snedeker.
