Deutsche Bank Championship Leaderboard: Rory McIlroy Regains Lead

Rory McIlroy is 3-under through seven holes, improving his tournament total to 19-under and moving into a one shot lead over Louis Oosthuizen.

McIlroy followed a par on No. 1 with three consecutive birdies. After losing a stroke with a bogey on No. 5, he rebounded nicely with birdie on No. 6 to move to 3-under on the day. He’s taken advantage of a struggling Oosthuizen who quickly lost his three shot lead, finally surrendering the top spot on the leaderboard after a double-bogey on No. 5.

Tiger Woods has also moved into contention with a 3-under day thus far. Woods birdied Nos. 4, 6 and 7 to bring his tournament total to 16-under, three shots off the pace.

Perhaps including Dustin Johnson who currently stands at 14-under, the tournament looks as though it will come down to a battle between McIlroy, Oosthuizen and Woods. Click here for a complete leaderboard.
