Phoenix Open 2013 leaderboard: Phil Mickelson the early leader
Phil Mickelson is the early leader at the 2013 Phoenix Open, as the event’s first round begins to come to an end.

Through his first 14 holes on Thursday, Mickelson has shot 10-under par, giving himself a three-stroke lead over fellow American Ryan Palmer, who shot a 7-under for the entire first round of play.
Mickelson has yet to bogey, and has 10 birdies in the first round.
Rickie Fowler and Jason Dufner were considered the favorites to win the Phoenix Open coming into the event, and neither golfer has faltered -- though they both trail Mickelson. Through his first 14 holes, Dufner is 4-under par, with four bridies and no bogeys on the day. Dufner is tied for 12th.
Fowler is 2-under par through 14 holes. Though he has five birdies on the day, a double-bogey on the third hole set Fowler back. Fowler is currently tied for 31st.
Four golfers are tied for third, with a score of 6-under.
