WGC-Accenture Match Play 2013 bracket: Steve Stricker, Graeme McDonald among those still alive

The Accenture Match Play Championships field will be pared down to four players Saturday. Steve Stricker and Matt Kuchar are among those leading their respective matches early.

By the end of Saturday, the field for the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championships will be down to just four players as 60 others will have been knocked out. Eight players are still alive in the bracket entering the quarterfinals of the marquee match play event.

The quarterfinal matches on Saturday have already begun, with nine-seeded Robert Garrigus facing sixth-seeded Matt Kuchar in the Ben Hogan section and third-seeded Ian Poulter facing fourth-seeded Steve Stricker in the Sam Snead section

Through four holes, Kuchar is 1-over par, while Stricker and Poulter are all square through two holes.

Fifth-seeded Graeme McDonald is currently 1-over through one hole against Jason Day, the 11th seed in the Bobby Jones section. Webb Simpson, a fourth seed, faces sixth-seeded Hunter Mahan in the Gary Player section, with that match just beginning.

The Accenture Match Play Championships are being played at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz.
