Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship 2014: Pablo Larrazábal edges Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy for victory
It was a close one at the end, but a late mistake by Mickelson cost him the tournament.

Larrazábal shot a 67 in the final round, finishing the tournament with a 14-under par 274, and he could consider himself fortunate to claim the victory. Both McIlroy and Mickelson suffered key penalties: McIlroy a two-stroke penalty during Round Three, Mickelson with a shot penalty after a double hit on the 13th round.
The shot penalty for Mickelson turned the tournament completely around. He was leading by one stroke at the time, but the American ended up with a triple bogey on the hole. This gave Larrazábal a lead he would not surrender. Mickelson outplayed Larrazábal on the final five holes, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.
Rafa Cabrera-Bello and George Coetzee tied for fourth place, with Joost Luiten, Johan Carlsson, Stephen Gallacher, Robert Karlsson and nine players tied for 10th place rounding out the top 10.
