PGA Tour pro engraves Anchorman quotes on his clubs for San Diego tournament

One of the perks of being a PGA Tour pro is that your clubs can almost always be altered or customized on the fly within a matter of minutes, so Morgan Hoffmann decided to get some superfluous engraving on his wedges for this week’s stop in San Diego.

Last year’s ubiquitous ad campaigns aside, when PGA Tour players are putting quotes on their clubs because they’re playing in the area, it probably means that Anchorman has become as much a part of San Diego’s identity than anything else.
