Tiger Woods wears his dad jeans to Raiders game, visits fans in ‘Black Hole’

There’s a 20-year library of Tiger Woods wearing terrible jeans to every sporting event he’s ever attended. A double-dip weekend at Stanford and the Raiders game provide the most recent additions.

Over the years, Tiger Woods’ pro sports team loyalties have not always been clear. He grew up in Southern California and says he’s a diehard Lakers fan, but he was also an Orlando Magic season ticket holder and enthusiast of that team. It got confusing, especially when the two played in the 2009 Finals.

On the NFL side, however, Tiger has remained steadfast in his support of the Raiders, who played in Los Angeles when Tiger was a kid. Woods has stayed with the team even since they relocated to Oakland and through this particularly dark era.

So it’s not surprising to see him on the sidelines of Sunday’s home game against the Chargers. Tiger took some pictures with fans in the Black Hole while he toured the sidelines. He also maintained his uncanny ability to wear terrible dad jeans to every non-golf sporting event he’s ever attended. Here he is with Tim Brown:

He wore a comparable pair the other day when he was out scouting one of the courses he’s designing in the Houston area.

Tiger’s schedule from October through mid-January is always pretty light, but especially this year with his back preventing his regular offseason practice routines. It’s not uncommon for him to take in at least one Stanford game, and often an NFL game each fall. He was at the Cardinal’s game against Washington State on Saturday, and shot over to Oakland for Sunday’s Raiders game. He was in proper denim on The Farm.
