AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am 2015: Tee times, pairings for Saturday’s 3rd round

The most unique event of the PGA Tour season continues Saturday, when most of the biggest names in the field will be on Pebble Beach.

There are more than 300 players who tee it up at the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and it’s one of the best deals in golf because you’re guaranteed three rounds at maybe the most beautiful place for golf in the world. Unlike a normal PGA Tour event, there’s no cut on Friday night. So all amateurs and the 150-plus Tour pros get to play 54 before they’re sent home, rotating between Pebble, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s Shore Course. Those are just three of the handful of world-class courses on the Peninsula, but they’ve settled in as the established rotation over the past few years.

The tournament is a bit unbalanced in terms of headliners on both the pro and amateur side. Friday’s group at Pebble Beach, the main attraction, was pretty thin. But Saturday’s group, when CBS takes over the broadcast, is loaded with well-known pros and celebrity amateurs.

Brandt Snedeker is probably the biggest name who is on the first page of the leaderboard. Snedeker had an awful 2014 season after a couple career years that featured a FedEx Cup title, several Tour wins, repeated major contentions, and spots on the Ryder and Presidents Cup teams. Snedeker has won this event before, so maybe this is the start of a rebound year as he works towards Augusta, where he’s always felt comfortable and showed well.

Snedeker is currently T1 at 12-under and given the way Pebble has been playing this week, he’s got a great chance to push that number much higher and head to Sunday with a mutli-shot lead. He goes off at 12:50 p.m. ET on the 10th tee and should be featured throughout the TV broadcast. Tied with Snedeker at 12-under is Matt Jones, the Houston Open winner last year. Jones will also be on Pebble on Saturday just a group ahead of Snedeker.

The group that should get the most love, however, is the Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson duo. Those two are both in the top 30 and should carve up Pebble on Saturday. DJ is playing with his father-in-law, Wayne Gretzky, while Spieth is with Jake Owen, a country musician of moderate renown.

Bill Murray will also be on Pebble on Saturday, so expect to see plenty of his hijinks throughout the afternoon. He tees off at 12:50 p.m. on the 1st tee. Here’s the full tee sheet for all three courses on Saturday (all times ET):
