Bubba Watson nearly killed someone with this wild and low screaming drive
The lives of a portion of Cadillac Championship crowd at Doral were in danger when Bubba yanked this rocket right over their heads.

We all know by now that Bubba Watson contemplates and attempts some of the craziest shots and shot shapes in the history of golf. It’s how he won his first Masters, that absurd hook from the pine straw that few others would have even envisioned.
But after watching ball after ball go in the water down the left at the 18th at Doral, Bubba wanted to play it safe and play a cut shot waaaaaaay out to the right. The execution was lacking a bit, however, and Bubba damn near killed someone on the ropes just off the tee on the right side. NBC’s Roger Maltbie let out a yelp as the ball whizzed over his head.

— Golf Central (@GolfCentral) March 5, 2015 The drive went so far right that, according to Golf Channel, it ended up in a bunker on the right side of the adjacent hole. So Bubba, who blasted a drive 376 yards earlier in the round, crossed two holes during this little misadventure.
The dangers for the crowd didn’t end after the tee ball. In what looked like a deliberate play for free relief around the green, Bubba airmailed one into the grandstands at the back of the 18th green.
That’s a grandstand Bubba knows pretty well. He hammered his approach shot into the crowd there the last round he played at this tournament.
And after all that, Bubba walked off with a simple par and everyone around the hole from tee-to-green in good health. But the PGA Tour’s ShotTracker map doesn’t quite tell the full story of this par.
