Johnny Manziel loves golf, so it was not all that surprising to learn that the troubled Cleveland Browns quarterback showed up on a Louisiana course on Saturday, according to USA Today.

Manziel may or may not have a job when the next NFL season starts after he scuffled through a terrible rookie year that ended with the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner entering treatment for personal issues. He was reportedly on a permitted break from rehab when he hit the links with his father, a regular member of his foursome, at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport.

The Manziels reportedly began their outing with some practice at the David Toms Golf Academy 265. The younger Manziel purportedly sports a single-digit handicap and knows Toms as well as 265’s director of golf, Shaun Webb.
