Bubba Watson ignores fan’s advice, trash talks after brilliant shot

When you’re an accomplished pro and major winner, it’s best to ignore the crowd’s terrible advice on how to play golf.

Bubba Watson has a reputation for getting frosty with some of the fans who can disrupt his rhythm when his ball ventures off the fairway and near the ropes. But this was a perfectly executed bit of fan interaction.

With a tree in his way, one nearby expert advised Bubba to punch a low 4-iron underneath the obstruction. Instead, the two-time Masters champ and current Travelers Championship leader went with his own plan and stuck it just a couple feet for his second straight birdie to start his final round. Then he let the fan know about it.
