We’re watching something special on Sunday at the Barclays.

This is getting out of hand. Jason Day is about to win his third event in his last four starts and he’s running away with the FedExCup opener in the same way he cruised at the PGA Championship three weeks ago.
Day started the weekend in the middle of the pack at The Barclays but shot up the leaderboard on Saturday with a 7-under 63. He’s got world class talent all around him trying to chase, much like Jordan Spieth did that Sunday at Whistling Straits, but he’s yielding absolutely no room or hope for the chasers. He’ll always crush those bombs off the tee, but he simply cannot miss with the putter right now and keeps pushing the leading number higher and higher. He poured one in from 27 feet at the 10th hole, 28 feet at the 14th hole and then canned that silly putt above from 33 feet at the 15th.
