Jordan Spieth bombs in 47-foot putt and takes control of FedExCup

Spieth has done this so much this season that his playing partner and top challenger could only laugh as he closes in on a $10 million bonus pot.

Jason Day’s recent run has made some forget just how amazing Jordan Spieth’s historic season has been. But Spieth is about to cap it off with his fifth win of the year and a $10 million FedExCup title.

This 47-foot putt was just two feet shy of his longest in this incredible season and even his playing partner, Henrik Stenson, could only smirk and recognize. His lead ballooned to four shots on the back nine. The Player of the Year debate, which became a thing in recent weeks, is probably over.
