HOLE-IN-ONE ON NO. 17!! #QuickHits https://t.co/uqJnHknXN1
Will Wilcox ends 14-year hole-in-one drought at TPC Sawgrass’ famous island hole
At long last, someone has aced the 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

It took 14 years and more than 6,000 tee shots, but finally ... FINALLY ... we have an ace on the famous island 17th green at TPC Sawgrass.
The hole was playing almost 22 yards longer than Thursday, when many thought someone would suck a tee shot back down into the cup in the front of the green. But Will Wilcox flew one to the back left pin location and rolled it right in to break one of the longest and most highly publicized droughts in golf.
The last man to do it? The legend himself, the Mechanic, Miguel Angel Jimenez in 2002.
The complete ace history at Sawgrass’ 17th -- it’s been awhile.
