Tiger Woods live stream 2017: How to watch Saturday at Hero World Challenge

If you decided to ignore work, or skip out on work altogether on Thursday and/or Friday to watch Tiger Woods’ return, you were rewarded. Tiger is 7-under after 36 holes, good enough for a tie for fifth place and to entertain, albeit still slim, thoughts of contending for a win deep into Sunday afternoon. Watching Friday’s birdie run was among the most fun you could have watching golf this year. Everyone was enthralled.

Now comes the weekend and Tiger is playing in the third-to-last group. You probably have a bunch of errands to run, holiday shopping to get done, games to go to, and college football to watch. But the way Tiger is playing, and by the simple fact that we haven’t seen him competitively in 300 days, should make this must watch.

Tiger’s speed right now with the driver has stunned everyone, including his own caddie. He’s blasting it by many of his fellow pros, some who are among the biggest and best hitters in the world. There were doubts that these claims would not hold up once Tiger left the friendly South Florida country club games for a competitive event in front of TV cameras. But it has so far this week in Albany — Tiger is murdering the ball with his driver, and it’s a big reason why this comeback has just looked different, and more promising, after a short 36-hole beginning.

The tee times are all clustered in about a 90-minute window at the Hero World Challenge. There are only 18 players to get through 18 holes and it always moves fast. The rounds always come in well under four hours. Tiger’s tee time will be 12:53 p.m. ET with Hideki Matsuyama, the Japanese phenom who could have rightly claimed to be the best player in the world during certain stretches last season.

Woods will have his every shot shown, first on Golf Channel and then on NBC to conclude his round. If you’re busy being a normal person with normal obligations and cannot watch the entire four hours just sitting there on your couch, there are streaming options available to steal time with Tiger when you’re on the run doing those errands.
