The final round of the 2017 Players Championship figures to be an exciting one, with 12 players within five shots of the lead heading into Sunday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

NBC will provide final-round coverage of golf’s unofficial fifth major, beginning at 2 p.m. ET Sunday, with online streaming available through NBC Sports.

Hockey fans won’t have to worry about a repeat of Saturday, when third-round coverage ran a little bit long, forcing the delay of the start of the NHL Eastern Conference Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators. NBC, covering both events, switched over at the conclusion of the third round, about 25 minutes after the scheduled start of hockey.

On Sunday, the Anaheim Ducks and Nashville Predators are scheduled after golf, but that game will be found on NBCSN.

Kyle Stanley was able to keep his hold on the lead with an even-par 72 on Saturday. He heads into Sunday at 9-under for the tournament, tied with J.B. Holmes heading into the final round.

Louis Oosthuizen was a co-leader with Stanley through the second round, but he gave back a stroke on Saturday with a 73, a round that saw him make four bogeys and three birdies.
