Rory McIlroy hit an approach shot to the 10th green on Friday at Quail Hollow that has to be seen to be believed.

Rory’s adventurous journey around Quail Hollow involves an errant stroke, a cart path and a ho-hum par to start his second round at of the PGA Championship.

After losing his tee shot wide right and his second shot bounced down a cart path on his first hole of Friday’s second round, the two-time winner of this tournament directed spectators to give him some room and — Bang! Off the path, nothin’ but green.

Just another par save for McIlroy, who wowed Twitter with his creativity and execution.

McIlroy, who got off to a 1-over 72 start to his quest for a fifth major title, missed all three fairways to begin his second day and remained even for Friday, six shots behind 18-hole leader Kevin Kisner heading to the fourth hole.
