Golf fashion has taken over. Let’s discuss which PGA Tour player had the best fit from Thursday and Friday of The Memorial.

One of the emerging niches in professional golf is fashion. What these PGA Tour players wear continues to spark intense discussions on social media.

From Jason Day’s viral vest from The Masters to seeing what Viktor Hovland shows up in, fans love to give opinions about players’ outfits.

Fashion is a subjective topic with no right answer. Many dislike what Day and Hovland wear, but many fans love what they wear. Those two guys take bigger risks, but plenty of Tour players look good in traditional-style garments.

How it fits on the body is a main component of a good outfit. Other things we looked at when ranking are coloring, attention to detail, and risk level.

This week, the PGA Tour is at The Memorial at Muirfield Village, the seventh Signature Event of the 2024 season. These are the five best outfits we saw from the players on Thursday and Friday.

5. Mackenzie Hughes

Mackenzie Hughes is among the bigger names who missed the cut at the Memorial Tournament, but this outfit is lovely.

The polo’s pattern is little golfers, and it pairs nicely with the dark neutral pants.

Ranking: 8/10

4. Ludvig Åberg

Ludvig Åberg’s second-round outfit was phenomenal. It is a perfect example of how to do a classic look with style. He and Scottie Scheffler almost had identical outfits, but Åberg’s looked better. The simple reason it did is the hat.

Åberg’s navy blue with a white rope hat completes the look. Scheffler opted for an all-white hat. It gave too much white for us. While it was fine, the navy lid just elevated the look more.

Ranking: 10/10

3. Justin Thomas

Justin Thomas is No. 3 on this list for those minty green pants. He is not afraid to wear color, but this is just enough without going overboard. The off-white striped polo is a fantastic top for bright pants like this.

As an investor in Greyson Clothiers, they always hook him up with fabulous outfits.

Rating: 9.5/10

2. Viktor Hovland

Viktor Hovland’s look on Friday was one of the best so far. The orange-red pants paired with a cream off-white polo was a fantastic choice for the 26-year-old. Both colors look amazing on his coloring.

He looks trendy while still bringing a moment to the golf course. In this instance, the white hat works because the black lettering breaks it up, and the polo only has true white around the collar.

Rating: 10/10

1. Jason Day

Jason Day’s Friday outfit was perfect. The red and black knit polo with black pants and white shoes was the best of the first two days. This season, Malbon Golf has put him in some out-of-the-box looks. Most of the time, people troll him for wearing them, but the tide began to shift this week.

He is also No. 1 on this list for the other looks he wore leading up to The Memorial Tournament. The two looks from the Pro-Am on Wednesday and the practice round on Tuesday was superior.

These looks are fun, fresh and trendy. Many people do not like these, but it is hard to find any faults. This pattern is unique and looks like a golf ball. The color choices also look amazing on his skin tone.

Rating: 10/10

It will be hard to dethrone Day for best dressed over the next two days, but stay tuned for the best outfits from the whole week of The Memorial. Which outfit from the above list is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
