Soo... Zooey Deschanel’s pretty much perfect, right? It’s one thing to inspire fantasies about going to indie music festivals and watching good movies and just being SO enlightened together... But when she starts singing like she did on Conan last night? That’s just unfair.

She also invented the best holiday ever earlier this week, something called Bestie Day. And while I can’t exactly get behind calling someone my “Bestie”, I think it’s awesome that she can, and offers up ideas like this:

↵2. Give your bestie a treat. A cookie or a book, or a lotto ticket with your lucky numbers (don’t be stingy). Something to let them know you care.
↵3. Send a picture of a baby panda to your bestie. Everyone loves baby pandas, even goths and steam-punks. lets face it, baby pandas are the original goths, and they have an old-timey look any steam-punk would love. They are born with tiny paws that are only an inch wide! Just an inch! So small!!!

↵So, yeah. If Bestie Day was earlier this week, I think this should be Zooey Day. We can even celebrate with her equally-awesome sister! (Uhh... Add another fantasy to the list...)
