Paducah Defeats Bronte 45-30 To Claim Texas Class 1A Division 2 Crown
Paducah (29-6) held Bronte (33-4) to a mere 30 points to win the Division 2, Class 1A state championship Saturday night at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.
After scoring 80 in the semifinal round, Bronte could not muster double digit points in any quarter.

Leading the way for West Oso was senior forward Raymond Robinson with 26 points and nine rebounds. Robinson, a first-team all-state selection last season, shunned Division 1 offers to stay close to home signing a letter of intent to play at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
