The 100th edition of the Indianapolis 500 is here, with 33 of the greatest drivers in the world hoping to drink milk in the winner’s circle on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

ABC begins its television coverage with a pre-race show at 11 a.m. ET, with race coverage set for noon. Allen Bestwick will call the race, joined in the booth by analysts Scott Goodyear and Eddie Cheeever, plus pit reporters Jon Beekhuis, Rick DeBruhl and Dr. Jerry Punch.
In addition to the broadcast on television, fans can watch online through WatchESPN. In addition to the ABC broadcast, there are alternate points of view available, including through on-board cameras for 12 of the 33 drivers.
The ABC and ESPN production will include over 100 cameras, nearly 300 microphones, 170,000 of fiber cable and a production crew of over 200 people.
“We’ve been pointing to the 100th Indianapolis 500 for a long time and now that it’s here, we’re more proud than ever to be associated with the Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” said ESPN vice president Julie Sobieski in a press release. “Producing this telecast is a labor of love for our team and this will be our biggest year ever. We’re all really looking forward to Sunday.”
The Indianapolis 500 can be heard on radio online through IndyCar Radio or through various Indianapolis Motor Speedway affiliates.
The green flag is scheduled for 12:17 p.m. ET.
