2017 Indy 500: Carb Day schedule and TV coverage

Fans can enjoy a day full of festivities at the Miller Lite Carb Day.

The Indianapolis 500 is inching closer. The famous race starts at noon (ET) on Sunday, May 28, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, before the race takes place, fans will get the chance to participate in the Miller Lite Carb Day on Friday, May 26. You can follow along on NBCSN beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.

This is an annual event in which fans can participate in different activities, watch the final Indy 500 practice, and enjoy a concert. This year, the Steve Miller Band and the Barenaked Ladies will be performing for IndyCar fans. The public gates open at 8 a.m.

The event will kick off with the final Indy 500 practice from 11 a.m to noon. After the final practice, the Indy Lights race will commence at 12:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., the TAG Heuer Pit Stop challenge will take place. Lastly, fans will get to enjoy the Miller Lite Carb Day Concert at 3:30 p.m.

If you want to attend the Miller Lite Carb Day, you can visit IMS.com/carbday to purchase tickets. General admission tickets to the events cost $30. Fans who want closer access to the stage can buy a $20 upgrade to the Miller Lite Concert Pit.
