Emmanuel Sanders comes wiiiiiiide open after rookie defensive back Dontae Johnson gets taken out by the umpire on the play. There’s nothing he really could’ve done: the ref got directly into his path and fell instants before Johnson reached him, leaving the defender essentially no time to take any sort of evasive action. Manning calmly gathered and threw the TD as soon as Johnson fell.
Maybe a little bit more awareness next time, ref.
