The San Francisco 49ers are out of their element as they take on the Chicago Bears on the road, where it’s snowing.
NFL players are making snow angels, and one of them got penalized for it
It’s the only appropriate celebration in the snow.
Dontae Johnson of the 49ers thought he had a touchdown on a blocked punt, which was ultimately ruled out at the 4-yard line, and did a snow angel to celebrate. His teammate Rashard Robinson was flagged on the play, because he was not the player with the ball.
The Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans are playing in their own snow game at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb connected on a touchdown and Cobb celebrated with a snow angel, but he wasn’t penalized because he was already on the ground.
Cobb also gave up on it a little faster than we would have liked, but since he’s in short sleeves, it’ll do.
Snow angels are fun and shouldn’t be penalties, but rules are rules.
