Things to do before a baseball game:
This Little League player’s secret weapon is looking at memes
The pregame routine of champions.
- Stretch.
- Throw the ball around and warm up.
- Look at memes?!
That was the pregame strategy of one young baseball player in the Maine vs. Connecticut game at the Little League New England Regional tournament, whose “interesting fact” on a television graphic stated that he “looks at memes before games for good luck.”
Absolutely brilliant.
This is such a good plan! After all, what’s gonna get you looser for a game than some good old-fashioned LOLing and LMAOing at some sweet memes.
I bet this kid, Leo Randazzo, third baseman for the Fairfield, Conn., Little League team, probably logs onto Twitter and spends his pregame routine sipping on an Glacier Freeze Gatorade and checking out the latest Spongebob memes, Snapchat hot dog memes, and maybe even a good old fashioned tea lizard meme.
But whatever it was, it must have worked! Fairfield won the game 8-0 ... so clearly a pregame meme sesh is the key to winning at sports. It’s only a matter of time before the pros do it too.
