Dusty Baker And Reds Are “Very Close” On Two-Year Contract
Dusty Baker and the Reds are on the brink of agreeing to a two-year contract extension.
"We’re close," Baker said. "Very close. We’ve been close for a while."
Baker confirms that it’s a two-year deal being finalized. General manager Walt Jocketty earlier noted that the Reds would like to announce the contract before the end of the regular season, so it seems like it’s only a matter of time.
