You’re told one thing, and then an entirely different thing is done. What are you supposed to believe?”
What are you supposed to believe?
You’re supposed to believe that if you’re No. 2 (or 3) on the depth chart, there’s not a lot you can do in spring training, but your employers are going to tell you encouraging things anyway because they want you working as hard and playing as well as possible. This is the best thing for you, and this is the best thing for your employers.
Thus it has always been, and always will be.
By the way, yesterday I finally learned that Davis’s nickname is “Crush.”
