↵Jake Fox hit two more home runs Thursday and says he wants to be in the Baltimore Orioles' everyday lineup.

↵Fox has eight home runs, most in the majors this spring. He has homered four times in his past three starts.

↵You might recall that Fox once batted .409 in Triple-A. Granted, that was just 45 games (in 2009), but a batting average that starts with a 4 tends to catch your eye. Fox has some power, but he also has a .285 on-base percentage in 467 major-league plate appearances. He’s probably better than that, and should enjoy a nice little career as a bench player, perhaps starting right now.
