Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura, a close friend of the late St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras, is wearing a tribute on his cap during his start in game 6 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants.
Yordano Ventura honors Oscar Taveras in World Series Game 6
Taveras and his girlfriend Edilia Arvelo were both killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic over the weekend. Prior to Game 6 Kauffman Stadium held a moment of silence for the pair as well.
