Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact are two bad teams who have both been eliminated from the playoffs and the only thing that could have possibly saved their match on Saturday afternoon were some rivalry fireworks. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and the match was as predictably awful en route to a scoreless draw.
Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact, 2012 MLS: Final score 0-0, that was predictable
Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact are bad teams that played a bad match. Shocker!
There was something that bordered on soccer and excitement at the end of the match when the Impact threatened to grab all three points at BMO Field, but it wasn’t to be. Their finishing was poor and Freddy Hall made a couple decent saves to cap off an uneventful 90 minutes in which it often looked as if none of the players knew which colored jerseys to pass the ball to..
Toronto are now winless in their last 13 matches and have been far outpaced by their rivals Montreal, despite the Impact being an expansion club. Luckily for the Reds, the season is almost over.
