Dana White: Georges St. Pierre Out Of UFC 137 With Injury

Just weeks away from UFC 137, the worst possible scenario may have struck. According to UFC President Dana White, welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre suffered an undisclosed injury and has been removed from the card's main event against Carlos Condit. No explanation has been released other than this tweet sent out on Tuesday afternoon.

UFC officials have yet to elaborate on the news or any plans going forward at this time. MMA Nation will continue to update this story as news becomes available.

UFC 137 is scheduled for October 29th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and features a co-main event between former UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn and former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
