BloodyElbow.com has a nice compendium of interviews will Strikeforce’s major stars heading into Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva. HDNet’s Ron Kruck talks to Fedor Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovski, Antonio Silva (via translator) and Strikeforce President Scott Coker.A few notable items:1. Andrei Arlovski’s English and attitude appear massively improved. His ability to communicate is significantly better than it once was. More importantly, he seems to be at peace with his losses. He couched the problems as something that he is sure he corrected, as if it were an association with a bad coach or trainer. We’ll see how he does tomorrow.2. Scott Coker called this “a very special night for Strikeforce”. He also reiterated that he believes these are the best heavyweight fighters in the world.3. Coker also talked bracketology and essentially says the left side of the bracket is stacked so fans get the best possible outcomes before the finals given that the fan favorites don’t usually conveniently make it to the finals.I won’t cover the rest to leave a little to the imagination, but the excitement is palatable. Strikeforce has a serious opportunity.
