Round 1 - Hornbuckle lands with a counter hook. Weedman throws a front kick, which Hornbuckle catches and completes a takedown. Hornbuckle lands in side control, and quickly moves into mount. A failed submission attempt allows Weedman to scramble to his knees. Weedman grabs a single, and now Hornbuckle is on his back. Hornbuckle working for a triangle, but Weedman maintains his posture. Back in full guard, Weedman buries his head in Hornbuckle’s chest and throws punches. Hornbuckle defending with wrist control. Hornbuckle sits up to look for a kimura, but transitions into an armbar and then a triangle. Weedman has both arms in, and Hornbuckle loses the position.
