Round eight of the heavyweight championship fight between David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko appeared to be in the same mold as the prior few rounds. Haye appeared to be content not throwing many punches while Klitschko looked to reach out with his jab and occasionally follow it with his right hand.

Haye went tumbling to the mat again after a small push but this time the referee did not take a point away from Wladimir as he did in round 7.
For the rest of the round it just appeared that Haye was no longer able to find his range and Klitschko was likely pulling away on the scorecards.
