The final round of Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye saw Haye desperately needing a knockout. Haye would land a huge right hand early that clearly stunned Klitschko. Wladimir was forced to hold on to avoid any further punishmen but once he recovered he began to open up with big punches of his own.

Wladimir continued to let the right hand go off of the jab and take the round back into his own control.
One minute from a sure loss on the scorecards, Haye attempted to open up with the overhand right and left hook but Klitschko was solid defensively. Haye stopped throwing toward the end of the round which should have secured the win for Klitschko.
