Wladimir Klitschko Vs. David Haye Live Results - David Haye Stalling Before Introductions

David Haye was announced and the music began to play for his ring walk. Unfortunately, no Haye emerged to begin walking to the ring. While the crowd sang along to “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” it became clear that something was up. After a short delay and clear confusion on the HBO announce team’s part including a suggestion that it was due to the German TV control.

Shortly thereafter, it was announced that Haye was not walking out yet as he “wasn’t yet ready.” Lennox Lewis, a part of the ring walk of Haye, stood idly in the backstage area. Finally, Haye emerged and walked to the ring with the crowd singing along to his entrance music once more.

It’s entirely likely that this is just the next in a series of head games by Haye in his efforts to win the mental battle with Wladimir. But the time for mental battles is over, as Haye walks to the ring, it is time for him to back up his talk with actions.
