Paige Duke, Former Miss Sprint Cup, To Star On ‘Sweet Home Alabama’

Things are looking up for Paige Duke these days.

The former Miss Sprint Cup who lost her job after nude photos from her college days leaked online in late June has been chosen as the new bachelorette for CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama (premiering Jan. 13).

Duke, who was a contestant on the recently-completed season of the reality dating show, will now get to do the picking herself.

Obviously, losing the Miss Sprint Cup job was a huge blow to Duke. But it’s clear with her newfound TV stardom that she’s landed on her feet and will likely be in a better position career-wise than if she had stayed in the NASCAR world.

What do you think of Duke’s role on the show? Will you be watching Sweet Home Alabama when it premieres? And how do you think NASCAR and Sprint feel about Duke’s sudden fame?
