Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing Hires Max Jones To Manage NASCAR Team

Former Roush Fenway Racing general manager and Yates Racing co-owner Max Jones has been tapped to manage Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing’s NASCAR teams, the organization announced Wednesday.

↵Jones, who most recently spent two years as Richard Petty Motorsports’ president and GM after guiding the merger between Yates and RPM, will replace Tony Glover, who was fired at the end of the season.

↵“We are all pleased to get someone like Max into the organization,” team owner Chip Ganassi said. “He has a track record of success as a leader and has experience at just about every level of the sport. We think his impact will be immediate.”
