Tony Stewart To Run Chili Bowl For First Time Since 2008

Tony Stewart is returning to the biggest Midget car race of the year for the first time since 2008, leading what’s being described as a “team of champions” at January’s Chili Bowl.

↵NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champ Stewart will team with Nationwide Series winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Bryan Clauson and 2011 POWRi Rookie of the Year Jake Blackhurst at the Tulsa, Okla. event.

↵Stewart will be looking for his third “Golden Driller” trophy after winning the Chili Bowl in 2002 and 2007.

↵The event begins Jan. 10 and concludes with the A-main finale on Jan. 14.
