Say What? HendrickCars.com To Sponsor Kurt Busch In Daytona 500

The relationship between Hendrick Motorsports and Phoenix Racing driver Kurt Busch seems to have come full circle.

↵Busch, who once derided Hendrick’s drivers as “pretty boys,” will now be sponsored by HendrickCars.com in the 2012 Daytona 500.

↵HendrickCars.com is the web site for team owner Rick Hendrick’s car dealerships, and the move sort of makes sense given Phoenix Racing is a Hendrick affiliate. But curiously, the site will also be a major associate sponsor on Elliott Sadler’s Daytona 500 entry – which is fielded by Richard Childress Racing.

↵It seems like only a matter of time before every Chevrolet in the field has a Hendrick connection, doesn’t it?
