When Denny Hamlin was first introduced to the crowd before Saturday night’s NASCAR race at Bristol Motor Speedway, there wasn’t much more than a lukewarm reaction.

Hamlin asked the crowd for more noise, waving his hands to get them louder. Still, there wasn’t much of a response.

Did you hear that? As Hamlin danced to V.I.C.‘s “Wobble,” the fans went nuts – and it gave Hamlin the second-most noise in this week’s “Gluckometer” (which measures the volume of fan reaction in pre-race introductions).
No, it wasn’t enough to topple the No. 1 noise-getter – Dale Earnhardt Jr., whose reception was as loud as if Peyton Manning had come back to play one more game for the Tennessee Vols.
