NASCAR fans were focused on the Kansas Speedway this week, as drivers prepped for Sunday’s running of the STP 400. Matt Kenseth captured the pole in qualifying, edging out former Roush Fenway Racing teammates Carl Edwards and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. It was Kenseth’s ninth career pole - Sunday will mark his 480th Sprint Cup Series start.
NASCAR Kansas 2013: Lineup, starting grid for STP 400
Four drivers have a chance to become the first three-time winner at Kansas Speedway when the flag drops on Sunday’s STP 400.

Despite wrecking during qualifying, Jeff Gordon will race on Sunday. He will hold the final position, spot No. 43, which happens to be the worst starting point in his career.
Kansas Speedway has been home to 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races over the past twelve years, with four drivers earning victories twice at the track: Greg Biffle, Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart. No driver has won three times yet at Kansas Speedway.
The STP 400 will air on FOX at 1 p.m. ET. The event can also be followed live on FOX Sports Mobile.
