NASCAR Pocono 2013 qualifying: Party in the Poconos 400 qualifying set for Friday
Sprint Cup Series drivers will set their positions for Sunday’s race on Friday afternoon at the Pocono Raceway.

Qualifying is set for 3:40 p.m. ET, following a practice session earlier from 12-1:30. The two-lap burn around the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., will air on the SPEED channel. For those not near a television, the Motor Racing Network will stream qualifying here, or you can find a local radio station affiliate here.
NASCAR’s Minute-by-Minute blog will have updates throughout qualifying, and their app, NASCAR Mobile ‘13, is also available for download.
Last year at the Pocono Raceway in June, 22-year-old Joey Logano was the youngest winner in the race’s history after winning the pole with the track’s best qualifying mark of 179.598 miles per hour (via Jayski).
Sprint Cup Series drivers will go through a couple of practice sessions Saturday before Sunday’s race. Green flag for that is expected to drop at about 1:18 p.m. ET. It will be televised on TNT.
